Bibliography: Inayat. Twenty Jatakas: The Fairy and The Hare
This story is about a hare. He had three friends, a jackal, a water-weasel, and a monkey. They had gotten together and made an agreement to hunt for food, not eat it, and offer it to any poor creatures they might meet. In the woods, there also lived a sweet little fairy with butterfly wings. She was super connected to the forest and knew everything that took place and even knew of every creature's thoughts. So she changed herself into an old begger man and went to each of the animals asking if they had any food. they all gave her what they had. This was a test of their kindness in which they passed.
